SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it really is alarmed concerning the significant variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area each day. The services issue made for intervention activities a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
